Maleficent
This project was long, had a change of leadership and a few rotations of matte paint teams during process . The key art was provided by Dylan Cole (Client side Production Design). I mostly worked on the big battle scene which included multi-layered Nuke projections of complex matte paints. Originally we were asked to simply take the original key files provided by Dylan Cole and project them in Nuke as master environments. We quickly realized the photoshop files sent by the client could not be used in this way. This required major repaints in an effort to match the Keys as closely as possible.
